In my search for trails closer to home I have run across many little know trails.  Local bike shops like South Plains Cycles in Lubbock are usually more than happy to give directions to the local hot spots.  One such place is Buffalo Springs Lake in Lubbock.

 

It gets cold in the Panhandle of Texas during the winter months.  You will probably want to schedule your ride for Spring or Fall.
