Kerrville-Schreiner State Park is a great place to spend a weekend.  As you can see from these pictures there are lots of trees that provide plenty of shade.  The trails range from beginner to intermediate.  There is one tough climb.  The Guadalupe River also runs through the park so you can cool off after a long ride.   There is a good 4th of July fireworks show in downtown Kerrville down by the river.   Just ask a local for directions.

There's always time to showoff.

Go into the camping area early and pick out the site you like the best, then go to the park headquarters and tell them.  The sites are usually first come first serve.   Please don't bring your radio, no one else wants to hear it!!!!
