Flyin' Cow Poo
(Borrowed From alt.mountain-bike)

I went out to ride one of the local trails here in Oklahoma City tonight.  I rode about 10 miles and packed it up and hit the highway to head home.  I was going about 75 and was being boxed in by a cattle truck and a couple other cars.  The Cattle truck was in the left lane holding things up so being the courteous driver that I am, I chose him to tailgate.  It had only been a few seconds when I noticed what I thought was mud coming out the back of the truck.  I quickly realized that it was in fact cow poo.  I breathed a sigh of relief as it narrowly missed coming in my open moon roof.  I didn't even think about my Trek on the trunk rack on my car.  I got home and discovered a big glob on the top tube, a chunk on the seat, and a big gooey glop right on my Cateye Mity 3. I hope it's poo proof.  So anyways, the moral of this story is, when you're being boxed in in Oklahoma City by a cow truck and two other cars, tailgate one of the cars and not the poo truck.  I suppose it could have been worse and it could have come in the sunroof or splatted on the windshield blinding me sending me across the median into oncoming traffic.  Gotta watch that flyin poo.
